Rose DesRochers began her creative journey as a poet before expanding her work into digital media as a blogger and the founder of Today's Woman (todays-woman.net). Her path to writing has been shaped by a lifetime of experiences, including working as a respite worker, caring for family members, and navigating significant personal loss.

Rose's understanding of caregiving comes not only from her professional experience as a respite worker but also from caring for loved ones within her own family. She has experienced the loss of a child and supported family members through serious life challenges, experiences that have given her a deep understanding of the realities faced by caregivers and families.
