The St. Louis Blues are a professional ice hockey team in St. Louis, Missouri. They are members of the Central Division of the Western Conference of the National Hockey League NHL. The Blues play their home games at the 19,150-seat Scottrade Center in downtown St. Louis. Scottrade Center is the second home arena of the Blues, with the team first playing at St. Louis Arena from 1967 to 1994. The team is named after the famous W. C. Handy song 'Saint Louis Blues.' The franchise was founded in 1967 as an expansion team during the league's 1967 NHL Expansion, which expanded the league from six teams to twelve. The Blues are the oldest active-NHL team never to have won the Stanley Cup, although they played in the Stanley Cup Finals three times in 1968, 1969 and 1970. The Blues share a rivalry with the Chicago Blackhawks, sharing the same division since 1970. The team presently has one minor league affiliate, the Tulsa Oilers of the ECHL.

Blues Need Hoffman on Top Power Play Unit

The goal of the addition was obvious: the Blues had lost offensive production by letting Alex Pietrangelo walk as a free agent, and with the injury to Vladimir Tarasenko, […] The post Blues Need Hoffman on Top Power Play Unit appeared first on The Hockey...
