MAURIZIO SARRI claims Manchester United have the best players of any club in the Premier League.

Jose Mourinho takes his stuttering side to Stamford Bridge this weekend with United seven points adrift of the leaders.

But Chelsea boss Sarri insists when you compare the talent built up at United there is no one else in the division who can match up.

Yet he also questions whether Mourinho and his array of stars are actually the best team in England.

Sarri said: "They are a very strong team. Maybe, player by player, they are the best team in the Premier League.

“At the moment I think City are better as a team, but player by player, they are really very, very strong.

"So I don't know if they will play us or try and play their football.”

Sarri admits the stuttering start United have made to the season has caught him by surprise, but says there is plenty of time for them to recover.

He added: "I think it can happen. We are talking about only eight matches.

"They are doing well in the Champions League, so they have the opportunity to improve in the Premier League.

"We are talking about two months.”

Brook defended his cornerman for throwing in the white towel at his beloved Bramall Lane, home to Sheffield United.

He said: “I came back after the second round and said 'I can't see out of the right eye, Dominic'.

"I was talking to him, and he knows me, he saw me growing up as a kid.

"He's like a father figure. It was the right decision and I can fight another day. I was getting caught, and getting caught. It could have ended up seriously bad.”

CONOR MCGREGOR will not get a Khabib Nurmagomedov UFC rematch, according to the Russian lightweight champion’s manager.

Ali Abdelaziz, the Egyptian who was labelled a “terrorist rat” by the Irishman, claims McGregor was carried along in the Las Vegas bout before he was submitted in the fourth round.

The deplorable post-fight scenes in which Nurmagomedov attacked a member of McGregor’s team and the Notorious, 30, was then set upon by two of Dagestani’s entourage, would only serve up more spice and interest in the rerun.

But Abdelaziz told ESPN the Dubliner suffered such a mauling on November 6 that he knows better than to chase a repeat.

He said: “He says he want it but he don't want it.

Abdelaziz said Khabib, 30, could have finished the fight as early as the first round but he extended the show to inflict maximum pain.

The 27-0 MMA sensation was seen taunting his rival throughout the bout, before locking in the decisive rear-naked choke.

The contest was not remotely close enough for a rematch to be called for and Nurmagomedov is already looking toward his next challenge.

“He carried him to punish him. Conor was an enemy, a true enemy, to all of us.

SERGIO GARCIA has beaten Sir Nick Faldo's record as the highest-ever points scorer in Ryder Cup history – four years after the legend labelled him "useless".

Spanish star Garcia capped another brilliant week on duty for Europe with a victory over Rickie Fowler which helped them to secure a stunning victory over America.

And in the process he surpassed golfing great Faldo at the top of the all-time scorers, making his former captain eat his words once again.

Faldo had been in charge of the side which was thrashed by the US in 2008, and years later hit out at the contribution Garcia had made.

While working as a pundit for the Golf Channel, he took issue at his colleague Terry Gannon claiming Garcia's Ryder Cup play had been "spectacular".

Faldo snapped back: "Most of them. Apart from one.

"He was useless. Half a point, bad attitude. Anyway, we move on."

His comments back in 2014 drew fierce criticism, and Faldo eventually rolled back on his claim and said Garcia was actually "lousy" for him.

But the irony of Garcia being the man to finally knock Faldo off top spot in the all-time Ryder Cup standings will not be lost on many.

Garcia said: "I don't usually cry, but I couldn't help it. What a week. It's been a rough year, but you know, we fought hard.

"Obviously so thankful for Thomas to pick me and believe in me, and you know, so happy, so happy to get the Cup back here in Paris and in Europe and for everyone to enjoy it as much as they did."
