How to Make White Cheese at Home

The White Cheese Ingredients:   

2 tablespoons white vinegar or lemon juice

2 kg of milk

2 tablespoons salt or as desired

Nigella “black cumin” or one green pepper as desired

Making Brie Recipe with Vinegar or Lemon at Home

The first recipe for making brie with vinegar or lemon at home:

The first recipe with vinegar: Put the milk on the fire until it starts boiling, then add vinegar, or lemon juice about a tablespoon per each kilogram of milk Then start stirring until the milk is clotted. Then let the milk stabilize and put it in a piece of white gauze cloth, or in the strainer until all the water is separated from it, and prefer to put the weight above it to get rid of all the water You can then add the nigella to the cheese and salt you prefer, or add the green pepper.

 

The Recipe of Making Brie with Liquid Rennet:

the second recipe by liquid rennet: Put the milk until it reaches a temperature of 35 degrees, then put the liquid rennet to it and stir the milk well. use a led to cover the milk and leave it in the kitchen for a day, then the clot, or cheese will form in its first stage get it out, and put it in a piece of white gauze cloth, or in the strainer, and leave it for two hours until all the water comes out with pressure from time to time until all the liquids is out Then, add a quantity of salt, and mix it from time to time for a full day, and then put it in a saline solution is a mixture of salt and water, then it’ll be ready to be taken.

 

NB:

  • Add the rennet by 2 g per 100 liters of milk.
  • You can keep the brie in the fridge for up to 10 days.
  • If you want to keep the white cheese for month use a saline solution is a mixture of salt and water.
  • If you don’t like to eat a salty cheese: take some pieces of cheese from a saline solution then soak them in a clean water for few hours, or let it in a water for one day.

Ingredient

  • 1 Kg fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 minced cloves of garlic
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ¼ cup tomato sauce, or ½ cup of tomato juice
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar (or any type of grape vinegar)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon of cayenne pepper
  • Skewers to grill the shrimp
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin

 

Directions

  1. Bring a bowl wide enough, and put the garlic, the tomato sauce, and the olive oil and stir them well then add the red wine vinegar.
  2. After 2 minutes of stirring add the basil then the salt, ground cumin, and cayenne pepper
  3. Now the mixture will become fragrant from the components now add the shrimp to the mixture, and stir very well
  4. Cover the mixture and put it in the fridge for 1 hour.
  5. Every 30 minutes open and stir the mixture to make sure that all the shrimps are dipped well in the frizzing sauce
  6. Preheat your grill and mount the shrimps on the skewers by piercing it from the tail to the head.
  7. Cook every shrimp for 2 to 3 minutes per side.
  8. Serve and enjoy

Ingredients

Sweet vermicelli is made by boiling the vermicelli with water on a slow flame. Get good quality vermicelli because it is the main ingredient

  • 1 ½ cups of vermicelli
  • 2 cups – water
  • 3 tablespoon of Ghee or vegetable oil
  • 7 tablespoon of Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of Cinnamon powder

 

How to Make Light and Healthy Sweet Vermicelli

  1. If the Vermicelli is long, we want to break the vermicelli into medium pieces.
  2. Heat the ghee, or the vegetable oil in a deep pan (preferable to be heavy bottom pan to spread the heat better).
  3. Using low heat we will fry the vermicelli till it turns light brown, or dark golden.
  4. After vermicelli turn dark golden add the water and Cinnamon (preferable to be powdered)
  5. Keep stirring continuously till the water dries up( if you don’t stir constantly it will stick to the bottom of the pan )
  6. Add sugar and keep stirring
  7. When the water dries up and the rest of it be absorbed by vermicelli, cover the mixture with a lid and of the heat.
  8. It will take maximum 20 minutes to be done, Serve hot and bon appétit.

Not: You can add more sugar, or honey, or Cinnamon powder as needed.

This is a very easy to prepare spicy grilled shrimp Try it with a salad, baked potato, rice, and garlic bread. You will be addicted to it.

Ingredients

  • 1 kilogram of large shrimp, peeled and deveined (you can use medium shrimp if large shrimp is not available)
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of salt, or table salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 lemons cut into wedges for garnish

 

Directions

  1. Preheat grill on medium heat.
  2. Crush the garlic with the salt and mix them together.
  3. Add in cayenne pepper and paprika to the mix.
  4. Add lemon juice and olive oil then stir the mix well (you better use a large bowl for this process),
  5. Toss the shrimps with garlic paste until evenly coated.
  6. Lightly oil grill to prevent the shrimp from sticking on the skewers.
  7. Cook shrimp for 3 minutes per side.
  8. Remove the shrimps from the skewers when done and garnish with lemon wedges.
  9. Serve and enjoy.

 

My Tip: I usually use aluminum foil for the following reasons

  • Because it keeps the shrimp moist
  • If I am not using the grill I can cook it in the oven using aluminum foil which will help to cook shrimps evenly.
  • It makes it easier to clean up

Ice cream now has hundreds of flavors, but still vanilla is the most loved and most frequently used to flavor ice cream all over the world, especially in North America and Europe.

All ice cream flavors including Vanilla are made by virtually the same method which is cooling a mixture made of cream, sugar, and flavor (vanilla in this case) above a container of ice and salt.

I cannot claim that vanilla flavor made the same way everywhere in the world but I am sure that ice cream is made using ice and salt the same way all over the world here is how

When we mix salt and ice the salt lower the freezing point of that salty mixture and that makes the ice and salt fell more cold than the ice by itself and that cold mixture absorbed more heat from the milk till it have the consistency of the ice cream.

 

Ingredient

  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • Milk, or chocolate milk
  • Salt
  • A large bag of ice
  • Plastic Food Storage Bags

 

Method

  1. Pour about a cup of milk into a food Storage bag then add the sugar and vanilla essence.
  2. Seal the bag properly.
  3. Put ice and a fair amount of salt halfway a bigger food Storage bag.
  4. Now put the milk bag (the smaller one) into the ice bag then shake it vigorously.
  5. Keep the milk in contact with the ice all the time to form the ice cream.
  6. Check the consistency of the milk after 10 minutes and you can let it longer till it have the ice cream consistency.
