The blog is all about Cryptocurrencies, questions evolve around Cryptocurrencies. like Should you buy Bitcoin? What is Blockchain? How does Cryptocurrency work? etc.

What is Cryptocurrency?

Should you buy Bitcoin? What is Blockchain? How does Cryptocurrency work?

A cryptocurrency is a digital, virtual currency, made up of bits & bytes secured by cryptography, controlled by blockchain technology, which makes it nearly impossible to counterfeit or double-spend. The word “cryptocurrency” is derived from the techniques which are used to secure the network, like cryptography. Cryptocurrency is not an organization’s or any government’s property like ₹, $, €, etc. There are 7,800+ cryptocurrencies out there on the Internet as of today’s date. Some popular cryptocurrencies are Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, Litecoin, Tether, Libra, etc. ( Should you buy Bitcoin? )

What is Bitcoin?

Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency that is invented by Satoshi Nakamoto ( an unknown person or maybe an organization) in 2009. This is a peer-to-peer electronic currency without a centralized database. This is totally open source and each transaction will be visible to everyone. No government or organization can control the value of the Bitcoin, like ₹, $, €, these currencies. A Bitcoin transaction can only possible by Bitcoin miners. A Bitcoin miner can solve algorithms in terms to complete a transaction, this needs huge computational power. Bitcoin agency is not controlled by a person it is totally opensource and every transaction is controlled or visible by blockchain technology. So Should you buy Bitcoin?

What is the value of a Bitcoin?

If no one is the owner and if it is totally open-source then who set the value of the Bitcoin. The value of Bitcoin depends upon the demand and supply of Bitcoins. And the supply of Bitcoins is limited to 21 million. That means according to the algorithm created by Satoshi Nakamoto the last Bitcoin one can mine is 21,000,000th no. After that, no new Bitcoin will be created but the trading will be still open to all.

1 month before the price of one Bitcoin goes up to $33,000, which is an all-time high. That means the demand for Bitcoin is directly proportional to the price of Bitcoin.

How are Bitcoins created?

Bitcoins are generated by a competitive and decentralized process called “mining”. Bitcoin miners are processing transactions and securing the network using specialized hardware and are collecting new bitcoins in exchange. You can mine a bitcoin too but that needs huge computational power and problem-solving abilities. You should understand What is Blockchain? in terms to understand the mining process. Okay, then should you buy Bitcoin?

What is Blockchain Technology?

Should you buy Bitcoin? What is Blockchain? How does Cryptocurrency work?

A blockchain is essentially a digital ledger of transactions that is duplicated and distributed across the entire network of computer systems on the blockchain. ( What is Blockchain? )

Suppose RBI issued a ₹100 note after that it goes to a bank’s ATM, from there person ‘A’ withdraw that money and give to the next vendor ‘B’, ‘B’ again use that money to buy some household things from vendor ‘C’, after that, I go the shop and buy some goods and in return, the shopkeeper ‘C’ handed me that ₹100 note. So am I verify that the ₹100 note comes from where? or is there any need to verify? No, because the RBI signed that note, so it is a legit note. But if I verify the whole transactions from where the ₹100 note came from and made a chart then that will be an internet-like diagram and this will also assure the authenticity of that ₹100 note. Same for the Bitcoins. so Should you buy Bitcoin?

Can anyone hack a Bitcoin transaction?

Near to Impossible. Every transaction is a block and a transaction can not be undone according to the algorithm, all the blocks are connected with hash codes & specific Bitcoin wallets along with bitcoin passwords. All the Bitcoin transactions were recorded not only in a specific centralized database but also distributed and recorded by all the miners and every transaction network. You can explore all the transactions here. My id is secure in this network. If anyone tries to hack any ongoing bitcoin transaction then one needs to hack or access each and every block of a transaction from the 1st ever bitcoin transaction. Now imagine how much computational power one should need to hack or access each transaction from the 1st. And if one has that computational power then also it will take many many years to guess every hashing algorithm.

Should you buy Bitcoin?

After reading everything about Bitcoin, I hope you understand, Should you buy Bitcoin? or not? As it has no fixed rate in the world no one can control the price of a Bitcoin it is very tough to say when will the prices go up and when will it goes down. Should you buy Bitcoin?: the answer is you can buy a Bitcoin. How much money? The money you can afford to lose or if you forget that money you will not regret, only that amount of money you can invest in these cryptocurrencies. If the prices go up 😀then that will be good and if goes low 😞 then you lose that.

Where to buy Bitcoin?

You can visit any of the Cryptocurrency exchange websites that provide you the option to buy and sell any cryptocurrency. some of the main cryptocurrency exchange websites are –

1. bitcoin.org
2. zebpay.com
3. gemini.com

There is one Indian application to do so, and I am also investing via this application named
Coinswitch Kuber“, is secure and you can invest from this application also.

Should you buy Bitcoin? What is Blockchain? How does Cryptocurrency work?

Conclusion

Every trading system has flaws and the same in our current currency system. Cryptocurrency may be the future of transactions, where privacy is a “?” Check out how to be safe online basic things by AnotherWhy. Comment down your thoughts, Thanks for Reading.

Engineering in India

India has a huge population of students, technically a $180-bn edtech sector. And in India, engineering & medical is a big thing for students, ( I mean it ). There are 31 NITs, 23 IITs & 25 IIITs across India, and also 4000+ private colleges for pursuing engineering as a career ( Under-Graduate ). And the crowd is huge. JEE Main & JEE Advanced are the two screening exams by which a student is allowed to pursue Engineering from the best colleges in India. And the craze is going up day by day. Nowadays Students from class 7, class 8 also opt for coaching to prepare themselves for the JEE examination. So coaching is a thing here in India.

( I am not against coaching but this thing became a “must thing” for students according to the so-called “society”. I am an engineering student and I got average marks in my 10th & 12th boards, and, even I opt for JEE coaching, not from any particular institution but from individual teachers and I got a 6 digit rank in my JEE Mains as I said I am an average student the teachers are very good and with the same coaching one of my friends cracked the JEE exam, now I think the coaching I opt-in 12th standard for JEE is a waste of money. A student can easily crack JEE Mains with the help of the free resources available on the Internet. Amazon Academy does the same, it is totally free. )

My point is Coaching is not mandatory but it is being by the society pressure and the crowd follows that.

Other Platforms

There are two big companies in India, who were already doing this. Unacademy & BYJU’s ( paid ). There are other platforms also, who teach students for JEE like entrance exams some are free some are paid. There are lots of individual teachers who teach students on the Youtube platform which is free of cost. And there are offline institutions like Aakash, Fitjee, Pathfinder, Kota, who are doing the same in exchange for lots and lots of money.

Conclusion

Amazon has done a good job, it will help the JEE & other engineering exam aspirants to prepare for the exam. Check more about technology, Thanks for Reading.

So It is happening Tesla Inc has registered itself in India as Tesla Motors India & Energy Private Limited and will be having their office in Bengaluru.

What Tesla told before?

India’s transport minister Nitin Gadkari told a local newspaper in December the U.S. electric carmaker, Tesla would start with their sales and soon will start assembly and manufacturing. And Tesla chief executive Elon Musk has also tweeted several times in recent years replying to some Indian people, about coming to the Indian Market.

Tesla Motors India & Energy Private Limited

On 8th January 2021, Tesla Inc registered as Tesla Motors India & Energy Private Limited. The Government filing shows Tesla India’s registered office which is located in the Lavelle Road, at Bengaluru, Karnataka. Vaibhav Taneja, Venkatrangam Shreeram & David Jon Feinstein are the directors of Tesla Motors India & Energy Private Limited.

In India Tesla India’s main line of business is Sale; Maintenance And Repair Of Motor Vehicles And Motorcycles; Retail Sale Of Automotive Fuel. That means Tesla will start with their sales, and after that soon they will start assembly and manufacturing in India ( no confirmation till 16.01.2021 ). And if they will start manufacturing and sales then there will be charging stations also nationwide. For now Tesla Motors India & Energy Private Limited is a private unlisted company with an authorized capital of Rs 15,00,000 and a paid-up capital of Rs 1,00,000.

Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa welcomed Tesla in a tweet late Tuesday but deleted that because of some fresh announcements. The tweet states “Karnataka will lead India’s journey towards Green Mobility. Electric Vehicle Manufacturer Tesla will soon start its operations in India with an R&D unit in Bengaluru. I welcome @elonmusk to India & Karnataka and wish him all the very best.”

Tesla India Share

CEO of Zerodha Nithin Kamath said in a tweet that while a Tesla car can be afforded only by a few Indians, its stock can be bought by a lot more people in India. His poll on Twitter shows that clearly, nearly 80% of people voted for the shares rather than the car, because of obvious reasons, reports say that the price of the cheapest Tesla, the Tesla Model 3 is near about 75 lakh Indian rupees ( as of 16.01.2021 ) after custom duty charges & all.

Elon Musk crossed Jef Bezos in terms of wealth the previous year. The market value of Tesla is increased to $773.5 billion. And last year Tesla produced just over half-a-million cars. All these stats show more and more potential growth of Tesla as an EV manufacturer worldwide. And in the future, we may see Tesla India listed in NSE & BSE also.

Elon Musk’s Tweet: “As Promised”

Conclusion

Not only Tesla there will be Tata Motors, Hyundai, Mahindra to boost the EV industry in India, there will be affordable electric cars on the India roads soon. Thanks for Reading.

Samsung Galaxy S21

Okay, it’s here at last. Samsung Galaxy S21 launched with 4 colors Phantom Violet, Phantom Pink, Phantom Grey, Phantom White, worldwide.

  • Performance: Talking about performance Samsung Galaxy S21 comes with a Snapdragon 888 5nm chip in the US region and a Samsung Exynos 2100 5nm chip for the rest of the world. With the One UI 3, Samsung Galaxy S21 is optimized to provide a smooth experience.
  • Security: Security is a thing nowadays, Samsung already introduced their Knox Security features the previous year, this year a leap ahead with the Private share option, which doesn’t include your device’s metadata. And the in-display fingerprint scanner is now more efficient.
  • Display: The display of the Samsung Galaxy S21 now offers an adaptive AMOLED display. Here the word adaptive means, the refresh rate will vary upon what is going on in the screen to save the battery. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus, which is the toughest glass in a smartphone ( According to Samsung ).
  • Camera: The Samsung Camera UI has a lot of options in terms of capturing an image or a video with the three sensors, 12MP Ultrawide, 12MP Wide-Angle & a 64MP Telephoto. The triple ISP feature in both Snapdragon 888, & Exynos 2100 allows one to capture videos or photos simultaneously from the three sensors at the same time.

Opinion: The chassis of the Samsung Galaxy S21 is made up of plastic, which is a not so good option in this price range. The second thing the cameras are more optimized now with some hardware & software improvements. Now the phones will not support expandable storage functionality, which is also a feature that will everyone expect in this price range, is it because Samsung wants you to buy the higher storage variant if you need it? or any other reason? Nextly Samsung has done a great job optimizing its devices for a better gaming experience in collaboration with Unity, & Microsoft, etc. And lastly “The Brand Name” the extra money is for that.

Samsung Galaxy S21+

Samsung unveiled Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, Galaxy S21 Ultra, Galaxy Buds Pro & Galaxy SmartTag

Samsung Galaxy S21+ is just a bigger variant of the same Samsung Galaxy S21 the only change is the screen size which is 6.7-inches over 6.2-inches in the S21 & there is a glass back instead of the plastic back in the S21. There are three colour options for Samsung Galaxy S21+ Phantom Violet, Phantom Black, Phantom Silver.

Opinion: Everything is the same except the two things I have mentioned, Samsung S21 will be a good choice between these two.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra

Samsung unveiled Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, Galaxy S21 Ultra, Galaxy Buds Pro & Galaxy SmartTag

This one is something interesting always the bigger one with loaded features, and everything a company can provide in their flagship, though not for Samsung, they has their Galaxy Note lineup.

  • Performance: Talking about performance Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra also comes with a Snapdragon 888 5nm chip in the US region and a Samsung Exynos 2100 5nm chip for the rest of the world. Nothing to do with that but here the RAM starts from 12GB and goes up to 16GB.
  • Display: Here the display is 6.8-inches, which the maximum Samsung offers in their S-lineup. The refresh rate in Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is still adaptive in 1080p that means it will save the battery. The display is flat which is a good thing for me, though it is slightly round at the edges that’s okay.
  • Camera: The previous year’s Samsung S20 series has some serious camera issues hope there will be nothing this year. The 108MP Wide-Angle camera sensor is now improved and it is the second generation. There are two telephoto lens one is for 3x zoom and another one is for 10x zoom. The zoomed image is much stable now. Overall all the cameras are the best in the market among the Android OS platform.

Opinion: The black color variant is very minimal in look and the best color for me. It starts from ₹ 1,05,999.00. The Snapdragon 888 will be available for under ₹ 50,000.00 ( in the second half of this year ) so the question is you are not paying extra for the chip, so for what? camera? maybe, if not the camera then the display, or the design, maybe. I think “The Brand Name” is the main factor. The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is an amazing smartphone ( no doubt ), the maximum an android can offer.

Galaxy Buds Pro

Samsung unveiled Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, Galaxy S21 Ultra, Galaxy Buds Pro & Galaxy SmartTag

Samsung has started the event with Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro. This is been amazing to see the design which is yet not copied from any other company at least. The Galaxy Buds Pro has an Intelligent ANC that lets you seamlessly switch between noise canceling and fully adjustable ambient sound. And lots of other features.

Galaxy SmartTag

Samsung unveiled Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, Galaxy S21 Ultra, Galaxy Buds Pro & Galaxy SmartTag

Galaxy SmartTags can locate your things from far away. Smart Tags can also control various IoT devices with just a click of a button, so you can turn on the lights in your home before you even step inside.

Conclusion

Samsung has done a great job, but why coping things from Apple? No charger in the box why? I think we can expect unique things from these big brands rather than copying others. But who am I to expect? Thanks for Reading.

This is been so long since Samsung has teased its upcoming Exynos processor. On the second day at CES 2021 ( 12.01.2021 ), Samsung introduced its second chipset based on the 5nm process, Samsung Exynos 2100.

Performance

Samsung Exynos 2100 is made up of 8 CPUs which are built on tri-cluster architecture, 1x ARM Cortex X1 @ 2.9GHz, 3x ARM Cortex A78 @ 2.8GHz & 4x ARM Cortex A55 @ 2.2GHz cores. The new Samsung Exynos 2100 offers 33% more CPU performance in multi-core than the Samsung Exynos 990 & 19% more in single-core performance.

This is a flagship-level chipset so it has to be excellent at gaming performance. Samsung Exynos 2100 has the 14 core Mali-G78 GPU that offers over 40% better performance compared to the Exynos 990. On Samsung’s website, it is mentioned that ” The new AMIGO technology delivers stable frame rates, offering you an edge over the competition. ” AMIGO stands for Advanced Multi-IP Governor.

AI

Samsung clearly says the Samsung Exynos 2100 has a triple-core NPU, and with the combined improvements in CPU, GPU, DSP, and NPU, the chipset delivers 26 TOPS ( Trillion Operations per second ) performance, which is a significant jump from the 15 TOPS achieved by the Exynos 990. This is exactly the same as the Snapdragon 888’s AI performance, now the time will say who is better.

5G

The Samsung Exynos 2100 includes a 5G modem with the all-new carrier aggregation technology. The 5G modem is capable of capturing sub-6 GHz spectrums and the download speed goes up to 7.35Gbps, which is a little less than the Snapdragon 888’s downlink speed. The devices powered with Samsung Exynos 2100 chipset will be epic in connectivity and network segment.

Camera

The megapixel count is going up, the same for this chipset. Samsung told in the launch event that the ISP of Samsung Exynos 2100 can handle up to 200MP image sensors, & can able to handle 4 simultaneous streams, and a maximum of 6 image sensors can be connected. It also supports a powerful multi-format codec (MFC) and an advanced camera system, the Exynos 2100 enables video recording and playback at 8K resolution. The processor also supports HDR10+ codecs for highly vivid colors with enhanced dynamic range.

Display

The processor supports HDR10+ displays with up to 4K resolution. the displays can support up to 144 Hz refresh rate.

Privacy

In 2021 privacy became a major factor. And in this processor there is a separate memory protection unit that separates personal data from the OS environment. And the embedded secure element is something that Samsung already talked about in past.

Snapdragon 888 vs Exynos 2100

In past years Samsung has tried their best but every time Snapdragon wins the race but what about this time? In the previous year, Snapdragon 865 outperforms the Samsung Exynos 990.
