Where have I been?
What is with...me! I haven't had a chance to write anything about anything, and there has been some crazy $hit going on this month. My only excuse is that I have not had much of a life this month because of university commitments. From June I will be starting a new life free from university, plus a great new job. Yay me! What is with?Kate Ceberano! She is all woman and alright, don?t you just love her! I was so glad she won, and her partner John-Paul, what a great connection! What can I say?Fifi and Paul, bad luck, but you guys were also fantastic and I thought you had it in the bag with the pole dancing, so original and out there?loved it! After Sunday night?s Australia?s Got Talent debacle, Channel 7 have shown some class, and I love that the money from the voting goes to charity. I went to CeBit today, a massive information and communication technology exhibition for the business marketplace. This trade show and conference is being held at the Darling Harbour Convention Centre over three days from 1-3 May, and it is very impressive! There is great representation from all things technology and I must say, it is a very well organised event. The registration and entry process using SMS barcode technology was flawless. What will they think of next! I do hope to make it tomorrow and Thursday for another squiz (man I sound like an IT geek). Fantastic: Eyeclick ? innovative, fun, and very different! What a great way to advertise, loved the interactive football! Disappointing: Google Adsense resellers ? the discourteous treatment I received at this stand. I stood there patiently waiting for my turn to ask questions and I got bounced! Get over yourselves. Dr Roller got rolled
What is with?carjackers! Sydney dentist, Dr Veronica Roller was carjacked last night by three bandits with bats. These bums purposely rear-ended her BMW and when she got out of the car to inspect the damage, the threesome were out of their car threatening her with their big bats. She ran for her life and they took off with the car. The beamer?s registration plates are NXF 01Y so if you have any information call Crime Stoppers now on 1800 333 000 and give these carjackers what?s coming to them! Australia's got NO talent!
What is with...Channel 7 and the show Australia's Got Talent? Herb Patten is a sweet man, but does he really have talent that's worth winning this competition? And don't get me started on Bonnie Anderson. What a cry baby with only a moderate talent for singing. It is hard to believe that the Australian public voted for Herb and the cry baby to make the final, and the cry baby to win. Channel 7 are not interested in the votes, they don't even count! They have their own political agenda, and those of you who voted are suckers, you're just putting more money in Leckie's wallet. Inmates on the Internet
What is with...inmates on the Internet? I just read in today?s Sunday Telegraph about David Parsons, a convicted armed robber, who has published a series of blogs by current jailbirds. He commented that ?prisoners feel as if they are not part of the community, and they have no voice?. A spokesman from prison reform organisation, Justice Action, said ?every human being has the right to self-expression, and being in prison doesn?t lessen that right?. What is with that!!! Of course they are not part of the community, they?ve been taken out of the community and thrown in jail for committing a crime! Prisoners do not deserve these rights. What about the rights of those they committed crimes against?
