People have been bugging me like hell DA WHOLE DAY TODAY coz it's my B-Day.
"What are you gonna do tonight to celebrate one more year of being alive~?!" they asked.
"Erm, I'm not doing anything special today," I said distractedly, busy pounding the calculator. "I think I'll wait 'til the weekend."
"THAT'S SCANDALOUS~~!!!" they all screamed. "You're not doing ANYTHING special or different to celebrate~?!"
"Well, does wearing a peridot (my birthstone) bracelet count~??" I asked.

"NO~~!!!!" they all gave me such disgusted looks I wished my B-Day was last month.
"How can you be so blasé about your own B-Day~?!" one more chimed in.
"Sigh~ just getting older means nothing," I tried to argue. "In fact, since EVERYBODY gets older sooner or later, I don't even see what's all this fuss about B-Days."
"More years = more wisdom~!!" they asserted.
"Not necessarily," I rebutted. "I know LOTS of much older people who are STILL hopeless retards."
"YOU ARE SOOOOOOOOO CYNICAL~~~!!!!!!!" they all sighed so dramati...
I thought tagging people was s-l-o-w-l-y becoming passé, but nooooooo...
I got tagged... AGAIN. This time I have to simply list down FIVE very unusual and surprising (surprising enough so that readers' eyebrows would actually either GO UP or GET WRINKLED when they read) things about me.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....
OK, here goes:
1). I absolutely, completely, madly LOVE ironing.
Why? Well, I guess it appeals to my Virgo nature. I love to organize things and make 'em look all nice and neat.
And have I told you guys how I ADORE fabric spray~?? This is the miracle I witness everytime I do ironing:
So you take this wrinkly, unpleasant-looking cloth, yea?

Just spritz some of this baby:

and voilà~!!

Smoooooooooooooth as a baby's bottom~~!!!!
Gosh, it's soooo... pleasurable~~!!!!
2). I've never dieted.
I don't even know how to count calories. I basically just scarf down ANYTHING that my eyes and nose like. Click HERE to read what different ki nds of food (both "normal" and "weird") I've tried.

Nicholas Cage was in Soi Cowboy (the very naughty, very seedy and very notorious soi between Sukhumvit 21 and 23) filming the remake of "Bangkok Dangerous", originally directed by brothers Oxide and Danny Pang~~!!! (And actually won the prestigious 2000 Toronto International Film Festival's International Critics' Fipresci Award)~!!
The story focuses on the life (and job) of a hired killer in the underbelly of Bangkok. Expect lotsa brooding, action, and explosions~~!!!!
Check out the trailer, yo~~~~~~!!!!
P.S. Just my opinion, but I think the main character (a deaf/mute professional killer) in the ORIGINAL film was much much more mysterious, beautiful and COOLER than Nicholas Cage (who actually SPEAKS in this new version of "Bangkok Dangerous" - go figure~!!)
Sukhumvit (not-so) Dangerousss~~!!!!

I swear my head is still spinning from all the sugar rush~~!!! (And the cuteness overload~~!!!!).
Of coz, it wasn't as if I weren't warned before... Just one look at the exterior of "Cakewalk" is enough for ANYONE to guess that you ain't gonna find leather or wood decor inside.

Na-uh.
The chairs are clear (transparent) acrylic.

The sofas are soft violet.

The lamps are either beaded or resemble fairy mushrooms.

Has any of you heard that some prisons nowadays paint their walls PINK and force their inmates to wear PINK uniforms~?? That's becoz pink is s'posed to make people (and yes, criminals are people too, regardless of what others think~!! Ha! Ha! Ha!) feel a sense of well-being, cheerfulness and docility like a bunch of merry lambs~!!
"Cakewalk" has proven this "color theory" to be true, coz right when I stepped in, I felt like Alice in Friggin' Wonderland after downing ten cans of soda pop.
Of coz, the cutesy cakes on display weren't helping with lowering the "princessy" factor either.

Too gorgeous, too breath-taking and toooooooooo AWESOME for my usual lowly smart-ass comments...
I give you...
HEAVEN above Sukhumvit~~~~~~~~~~!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(*mouth agape... totally speechless...*)
Everybody~!! Say it together with me now:
WOOOOOOOOOOW~~~~~~~!!!

I was walking in Sukhumvit 26 when I noticed that the traffic was heavier than usual... People on the road were just s-l-o-w-e-r coz they were WATCHING something.
Intrigued, I quickened my pace and found this:

That's right. It was a huge group of pasty-skinned, casually-dressed farangs milling around, with seemingly NOTHING to do.
You'd think that after HUNDREDS of MILLIONS of pasty-skinned, casually-dressed farang visitors visited the Land of Smile, the locals would be used to seeing 'em around.
But I guess just not with THIS group size.

Look what I found parked in front of a Japanese restaurant near Sukhum...
I just realized that I still don't a have a link to my second home on Sukhumvit (YIKES~!!).
Emporium has EVERYTHING that a Sukhumvittite needs; no wonder I'm here at least once a
