PayPal is a website where you can pay or be paid via email online.
PayPal is a well recognized payment website online, because it is used by many websites to accept payments for online orders from customers. As an online shopper myself, using PayPal has proven to be easy and convenient, and very secure too. PayPal is an electronic payment alternative to checks and money orders, and offers a highly secure method of using your credit card online. What it comes down to for consumers - you can send money to others via e-mail. The fees vary, and there are different types of membership you can open up with this website. Those who are only interested in using PayPal to shop online can open a personal account. PayPal offers Premier services for those who buy and sell online; plus Business services for companies and groups.
PayPal is a well known website for sending money online, and has had its fair share of 'growing pains'.
Many of us who have been on the internet for a while have seen the PayPal 'spoof' emails that internet hackers send out. I have had this same experience with eBay spoof emails too. You might receive emails that appear to be legitimately from PayPal or eBay, asking you for payment information. These are petty attempts at gaining access to your financial information subjecting you to identity theft. Report all incidents of these emails as 'spam' to your email provider right away, and be very aware of the existence of these emails. Anyone operating an internet business should learn to tell the difference between a genuine email and a spoof email. Any website online worth its weight in gold would not ask YOU for your password or account information in an email! PayPal is no different. PayPal does have security measures in place to protect their members from these spoof emails, and keeps a close eye on accounts that raise red flags. You can report spoof emails here.
Websites that PayPal partners with receive the PayPal seal of approval.
I take extra notice to any website that is "PayPal Verified". As an online shopper I know the dangers of using your credit card to shop online, and PayPal verified sites help me breathe a bit easier as I click the 'order' button. I know that to have an account on PayPal, they really do have to be 'verified'. Each new member has to verify their financial information through a certain process. Plus I know that the process is going to be a simple one, and I won't have to re-enter my financial information each time that I shop. Receipts are sent to me via e-mail which is very helpful for record-keeping, and I can use my checking account online with PayPal too. As an internet business owner, I see the big picture that PayPal brings to those who are looking to expand their business online. Their service effectively bridges the gap between businesses and consumers when it comes to online payments. PayPal offers a system that we can all appreciate and utilize and benefit from.
My favorite aspect of having a membership with PayPal, is that along with paying for things online, I can also get paid online through their site.
Many of the sponsors that I work with online and the affiliate networks I have partnered with offer the option of receiving my earnings via PayPal. This is extremely convenient since I can use my PayPal balance to shop online, or I can transfer the funds to one of my bank accounts. When partnering with companies online, all I need is provide my email address to receive payments. Plus I can accept donations from blog readers interested in sponsoring my blogs using PayPal as well. PayPal offers auction tools for eBay auctions, and has a referral program too! I definitely give PayPal two thumbs up!
You can learn more about the website using the following links below:
I encourage you to consider opening up a PayPal account if you are an avid online shopper, a merchant or business owner, or if you work from home online.
As with any financial service online, remain actively involved in what is happening with your account and your money. Keep your account active and change your password often to prevent hacking or phishing of it. Always stay aware of the site's policies at all times because you never want to jeopardize your account. Be sure to print out receipts you need, and don't just rely on the computer screen for that. PayPal is the service that I use online, and I have had a good experience with them thus far.
Thank you for taking the time to read this post, and I hope that all is well with you!

Upon my travels online I have found a most valuable Internet Business Find ? FeepMap.org!
When I found this site I was extremely excited, and my family was a bit confused as to why I was so excited about yet another map on the internet. Well my friends, if you have an internet business and are interested in staying in the game thru the dawn of Web 3.0, you will need to create some type of blog feed relevant to your business. Once you have your blog and feed set up, you will find that bringing traffic to your blog becomes a whole new facet to your business. The advantages of a blog over a traditional website include better visibility with major search engines, and the ability to feed your blog content out to other blogs and websites. Like any website, you can use the space on a blog to showcase sponsors and endorse other products, services, websites, and blogs that are relevant to your topic (and charge for it if you choose!). Creating a blog for your business will provide you with another platform to endorse your product or service; and if you don?t have a business, creating a blog on a topic of interest that you are passionate about can BE your product or service.
A blog is an extremely efficient idea for gaining visibility and interest for your brand, issue, or idea.
Search engines find what they are looking for based on the Key Words that a person searches for. The key word in that last sentence is PERSON. A Human Being. I say this because there are tons of ideas out there for what is called ?search engine optimization?. Basically this is how to optimize your site for the search engines to find you and list you as the most relevant site for the key words a person searches for. Every single word that you type on a blog is picked up by the search engines. If you are typing about a specific topic passionately, you will naturally type keywords into your posts that a human being would type about that specific topic. This ONE factor is what makes it possible for any average person with an internet connection to succeed at working from home with a blog. When you have a website that you are driving traffic to, the keywords the search engines pick up from your site are the words that your marketing department worked into the text. Sometimes the content you display on a website is behind a password protected page, and it?s also possible that the content is in a format that is not read by search engines at all. With a blog, there are none of those problems. Only the problem that every single thing that you type is picked up by search engines! *HaHa
There are some social networking websites that are picked up by major search engines naturally as well, such as MySpace.
If you have an internet business, you need to have a MySpace page, which is Step 2 of How 2 Work from Home Online. (links to that on the right of this blog) Additionally, there are also other social networking sites that the search engines pick up as well that you should be sure to stay visible on. I recommend searching your name on Google and see what comes up! Then you will know which sites to boost up participation in and such.
One site that you are going to need to get visible on as well is a site called FeedMap.org.
This site is not yet a social networking site; it is a blog map ? a map of blogs around the world! Once you have your blog going you are going to want to be sure to add your feeds to this site. I predict that this site is going to draw a huge amount of users, and that it will become a great social networking resource as well! I have already made local blog author friends from this site, and it?s interesting to know what topics people are blogging about around me and around the world. What I can also see is that this site has not yet hit the mainstream because I can see that there are only a few blogs listed in my area when I know personally of many bloggers in my area. So that being said pop on over to that site and add your feed! Ground is fresh there and the early bird gets the most traffic in the long run!
If you don?t have a blog yet, I hope that you can see the big picture of the future of the value of good blogger.
If you do see that picture, there are plenty of resources on The So Cal Work at Home blog to get you going in the right direction! You can also talk to others on the blog community for this blog to get ideas and insight. When you do have your blog up and running, be sure and add it to the Feed Map!
Well thanks so much for reading this blog. I really appreciate you taking the time to visit and I hope that you are enjoying the posts. Have a great day and stay well until the next time!

This week?s business find is something that I wish I had found years ago! I really needed this product when I first began my work from home adventure, and I recommend this product for anyone who has to do mass amounts of reading for research purposes. The product I am talking about is something that was released in 2007 called the Amazon Kindle. You may or may not have heard about this product, and if you haven?t I am going to tell you about it today.
The Amazon Kindle is a wireless reading device with a basic web browser installed as well.
Tied into the Sprint wireless network, you can use this device to browse and instantly download books to read on this device from the Amazon Kindle store. You can also access blogs, magazines, and newspapers from the Kindle, as well as highlight text and take notes as you read. You can also access Wikipedia from Kindle at no charge.
Now, I don?t suggest this item if you are an avid book reader for personal reasons.
The Amazon Kindle is not a replacement for page turning novels that you can?t put down and stay up all night to read. Nor can you pass the Kindle on to your friends and family like you can with a traditional paper book. However, the features that are available with this device are priceless to anyone who might need access to a lot of books quickly, someone who needs to keep their pulse on the latest news and events in the media, or anyone who does research for whatever purpose.
If I had the Kindle a few years ago, it would have saved me tons of time!
When I was preparing the guide on how to work from home that I have posted on this blog, I bought a lot of books for research from Amazon, Borders Books, Barnes and Noble, etc. Not only did it take me time and money to either go to the book store or have the books shipped, reading the books and taking notes was a painstakingly long process too. Oh how the Kindle would have helped! If you could only see how silly I looked carrying books in my purse all these years, LOL.
In any case, you can read more reviews about the Kindle online at the following websites?
You can also use the search box below to search the Amazon Kindle store for the latest titles:
I hope that you enjoyed this weeks Internet Business Find and thanks for reading about the Amazon Kindle.
Stay well!

I first learned about "Rich Dad" Robert Kiyosaki from an online friend named Sara.
Oh how I thank my lucky stars that she told me about him! I started out loving Rich Dad by reading his first book written with Sharon Lechter titled "Rich Dad, Poor Dad: What the Rich Teach Their Children That The Poor and Middle Class Do Not!" I went on to purchase the entire line of books he had available at the time, as well as the kids version of the CashFlow 101 board game to give to my children.
"I had two dads - a rich one and a poor one. One dad was highly educated and intelligent; he had a Ph.D. and had completed four years of under-graduate work in less than two years. He then went to Stanford University, the University of Chicago, and Northwestern University to do his advanced studies. All on full, financial scholarships. My other dad never finished the eighth grade. Both men were successful in their careers, working hard all their lives. Both earned substantial incomes. Yet one dad struggled financially all his life and the other dad would become one of the richest men in Hawaii. One died leaving tens of millions of dollars to his family, charities, and his church. The other left a legacy of unpaid bills. Both men were strong, charismatic, and influential. Both men offered me advice, but they did not advise the same things." ~ Robert Kiyosaki on RichDad.com
Rich Dad has become a globally recognized brand, and Robert Kiyosaki has grown a fan base around the world - and I am one of them!
You can find a summary of the book "Rich Dad, Poor Dad"here, and you can find the spanish version titled "Papa Rico, Papa Pobre", here. The advice that he gives in his book just makes sense, and you can find real world applications for his methods if you are interested in pursuing financial freedom in this day and age. His insights provide a structure to follow and guidance that you wish your daddy gave ya! Reading the Rich Dad books makes me feel like Robert Kiyosaki is my daddy! *haha* Anyhow, what more can I say to express how impressed I was/am with Robert Kiyosaki and the Rich Dad projects? This man has a wealth of information to share with anyone interested in creating income, becoming self-employed, starting their own corporation, investing in the real estate market, financial freedom, and/or long term business success. I have followed much of the advice I received from reading the Rich Dad books which are written by various authors on the Rich Dad team. This blog and my book are a result of the advice by Robert Kiyosaki to "go through the eye of the needle", which was a grueling yet rewarding piece of advice to follow.
My Rich Dad books are filled with highlights, underlines, post it notes, and thoughts written in the side space of many of the pages.
I really, really, learned a lot from these books, which has brought me to the success I have reached today - and will carry to the success in store for me in the future! If you want to have the experience of learning from the wisdom of Robert Kiyosaki aside from the Rich Dad books, you can read his column on Yahoo! Finance here.
You can also read more about Rich Dad on Wikipedia here or watch Rich Dad on YouTube with the Google Gadget below:
Plus you can find the entire line of Rich Dad books on Amazon using the links below:
If I had a hundred hands they would all give Rich Dad Robert Kiyosaki a thumbs up!
I am not the only one who loves Rich Dad, and you can find plenty of people online interested in discussing his books, board game, and other projects like Rich Dad Coaching and Rich Dad Education, not to mention Rich Woman. You can find others locally to play CashFlow 101 on MeetUp.com or go straight to the Rich Dad Community online here. All in all, I recommend getting involved as much as possible with Rich Dad to help reach your income goals in today's society and economy. Sign up for his newsletter, and that of his authors that offer them as well. If you are in need of some fatherly business advice, you will be glad that you did!
Thank you for taking time from your day to read this article and visit this page!
I hope that you enjoyed finding out more about Rich Dad, Poor Dad and gathered some much needed information and insights as well. Take care until the next time and thanks again!

Working from home without the existence of Google Docs was a very frustrating time for me.
When I first started using the internet to build a business from home, I encountered many difficulties with documents and spreadsheets that I created to share with others. This is what ultimately led me to blogging the ideas and insights that I had to share with the world, because emailing documents a few at a time just doesn't work. Not only do we all use different documents for saving our text, photos, and videos, we are all using different operating systems and computers. Some of us are using a desktop, some are using a laptop. Some people use Mac others are on Windows. Then you have to wonder what type of toolbar people are using and what kind of e-mail account they have.
Google Docs solves a lot of the hassles of working with online documents as you will find in this video from the Google YouTube Channel:
Here is an example of one of the documents that I have published on Google Docs.
Google Docs is very easy to use, and gives you the option of creating documents, spreadsheets, or presentations. You can upload documents from your computer and save documents to your desktop. You have the ability to edit your docs anytime, from anywhere and share changes in real time with the people you choose to have access. Google Docs makes it easy to create, share, and maintain your documents online, plus you can find documents that others have created and document templates as well.
Templates are narrowed into the following categories:
Albums & Flipbooks (here) Business (here) Calculators (here) Calendars & Schedules (here) Cards & Certificates (here) Labels & Business Cards (here) Letters & Faxes (here) Miscellaneous (here) Personal Finance (here) Presentation Designs (here) Resumes & Cover Letters (here) Statistics (here) Students & Teachers(here)
In order to use Google Docs you will need a Google account, and the service is free.
You can read more about Google Docs on Wikipedia here, and learn more about how to use the service on eHow.com here. You can take a tour of Google Docs to get more of an idea of what they have to offer by visiting this page here, and you can find the official Google Docs Blog on Blogger here. ExpertVillage.com has a series of videos dedicated to helping users learn more about how to use Google Docs that you can find here, and I also found this article on "Writing a Book in Google Docs" if that appeals to you. For even more information about Google Docs, you can read this article from cNet titled "5 things you probably didn't know you could do in Google Docs & Spreadsheets" which is a very good read!
I hope that you enjoyed this weeks Internet Business Find post, and I wish you the best on your journeys with Google Docs... stay well!

eHow is an online knowledge resource with more than 140,000 articles and videos offering step-by-step instructions on "how to do just about everything". eHow content is created by both professional experts and amateur members and covers a wide variety of topics organized into a hierarchy of categories. - Wikipedia
eHow.com is an extremely valuable resource for anyone online, especially those that are interested in creating income from home.
When you are self-employed this website can help you learn how to do things quickly and without hassle. The format of the 'how to guides' on this site is very user friendly, with step by step instructions, tips and warnings, and sometimes photos, videos, and a list of the tools you will need. I have used this website many times to learn things that I didn't already know how to do but needed to do. You will find that I link to eHow a lot on this blog, because the 'how to guides' posted on the website provide us all with access to insights and the personal experiences of others who have already done what we want to do. For those who are inclined to share how to do the things that they know how to do, eHow offers a Writers Compensation Program here where you can earn an income for the guides that you contribute to the site. (US residents age 18 and over are eligible to participate.) The income that you earn is from the ads that are displayed on the page your guides are displayed on. The popularity and ranking of each guide that you publish helps to bring more visitors to your articles, but the content and keywords you choose is more important. This means that if you decide you would like to participate in the compensation program you would have to provide timely, interesting, keyword rich and relevant 'how to guides' on a consistent basis. You can learn more about "How to Make Money on eHow" from this 'how to guide' here.
eHow.com is a very easy to use site, and has a clean, appealing look and atmosphere.
The entire website is appealing to both visitors and writers, and the price is right for such an awesome online service - free! If you are like me and you need to learn how to do different things very quickly, you will find yourself at this website again and again. Take the time to bookmark eHow.com and add it to your list of favorites to frequent.
These are the main categories that you can find how to guides on at eHow:
Arts & Entertainment (here) Business (here) Careers & Work (here) Cars (here) Computers (here) Culture & Society (here) Education (here) Electronics (here) Fashion, Style & Personal Care (here) Food & Drink (here) Health (here) Hobbies, Games & Toys (here) Holidays & Celebrations (here) Home & Garden (here) Internet (here) Legal (here) Parenting (here) Parties & Entertaining (here) Personal Finance (here) Pets (here) Relationships & Family (here) Sports & Fitness (here) Travel (here) Weddings(here)
eHow had a little bit of a 'rough upbringing' online, which you can read more about on Wikipedia here.
Through it all, spin-off site WikiHow came into existence, and under the ownership of Herrick and Hannah eHow.com went from 250,000 to 4 million visitors per year. eHow is now in the hands of Demand Media which has brought the site to more than 337,000 how-to articles and videos and has received more than 11 million unique visitors per month as of May 2008.
At this point, I give the eHow website 2 thumbs up, and I personally prefer this 'how to site' over WikiHow.
One of the reasons I am a fan of eHow is because of their simple format, ability to fill a basic global need of learning how to do things from other people, and also the fact that they have a social networking aspect to their website. Under the 'Community' tab on the eHow website you will find links to the eHow Forums or message board, member profiles, and expert profiles too.
You can network and meet other writers, discuss your interests with other eHow readers, post questions, and interact with others in the eHow Community.
Here is a link to my profile on eHow. I hope that you enjoyed this article, and that you find something helpful in the future on eHow.com.
