The hotel is parallel to the tower so I don't know if any room has a view.
The location of this hotel is really not bad at all. It's not centrally-located, but it's very close to 2 Metro stops, one of which (Charles-Michel on the 10 line) is literally 5 minutes away. RER stop at Javel is also convenient.
The room was very clean and it had a nice bathroom(I think the bathroom was almost as big as the room) The bathroom had a shower and a nice big sunken tub, which we used after long days of walking and sightseeing.
Our room rate included breakfast. The breakfast was extensive:Juices,coffees teas, water, pastries, croissants, cheeses, salmon, breads, cereals, bacon, eggs, potatoes.
We used the pool one day and it was good too. We could see the gym from the pool area and it looked very good. I'm not sure if you needed to pay to use the gym.
Monoprix supermarket across the terrance, could buy water etc, even some clothes

Some people at front desk had the trouble speaking good English.
The location around the immediate vicinity was run down.
Rooms are very small. Air conditioner had a mind of its own. One night it can blow hot air.
Beware you have to bring your own iron as they are not in the room. Don't forget to bring your own power converter as front desk will not be helpful in that regard.
If not included in the room rate breakfast costs Euros 20.

The facade and entrance lobby are very impressive: typical Paris 19th century. Location is excellent.
Due to the location of the hotel in the business district - no traffic noise at all if you stay over a weekend.
The neighborhood is quiet, and there are excellent shops and night clubs and restaurants near by.
Room was clean, bed was lovely and a big bathroom. Room was kept clean and all provisions (shampoos, soaps), night turn down were well done.

Reception is in a narrow corridor leading through from the main lobby to the courtyard
The hotel only provides one small bottle a day for each room. Should be free daily for this class of hotel.
Don't bother with breakfast - it's 27 euros in the hotel and 9.50 at almost any cafe outside the hotel.

We spent two nights here as part of a tour, it would not have been a first choice hotel because of the location. It is in the middle of the business district.
The hotel is in zone 3 of Paris, literally above the train station. It takes less than 10 minutes to travel to Champs Elysee, so very convenient. In addition, we used the line to go directly to Disneyland Paris (about 40 minutes).
Quite big with separate lounge with two sofas and a TV. The beds were very firm and more than adequate for a good night's rest. Bathrooms were nice and clean, with a separate toilet room.
The staff were very helpful and always greeted you with a smile. The hotel runs a free shuttle bus to the nearest metro station, and air-conditioned public areas of the hotel offer wireless Internet access.
The local restaurants are very cheap and cheerful and really cater for the locals.

The biggest gripe for me was that there were no tea and coffee facilities in the room.
The breakfast tea was nothing to write home about either, as the water was in a thermos jug and had obviously been sitting around for a few hours.
The hotel's laundry service is expensive (like most other hotels I'm sure) and there is only a dry cleaners nearby, no laundromat.

Excellent location with the metro 2mins outside the front door which was handy for getting around Paris and reaching the main attractions. Local supermarkets are just along the street. Local restaurants were easy to find and very good.
Effiel Tower aswel as other main attractions were also in walkable distances.
The room was almost standard Novotel fare but could really use an update. The carpets were horrible. The breakfast was acceptable.
Good firm beds. Might be a problem for people who like soft ones.
The staff was generally courteous and helpful.
Safe neighbourhood with police station on the opposite side.
Overall, if you are comfortable using the subway system and want to stay away from the busier areas of Paris, this hotel is a solid choice.

Be careful when booking via hotel website. We booked room on "non-refundable special rate".
No Air Conditioning.
The breakfast was quite pricey (14 Euros each) so it is best to go to a cafe down the street or to a grocery store (if not already included in the room rate).

The hotel is bright, cheerful and looks newly renovated. It had all the comforts of home and was extremely clean!
The entrance is a well arranged open space which is parted between the front desk, lobby and restaurant, ... and shop where you can bargain chocolate, wine, water, disopsable equipment, etc at a reasonable price.
The bed is dangerously comfortable, and the pillows are absolute delight to sleep on (and they don;t skimp on that too - there were about 4 big pillows).
Room was well-designed with large plasma-TV (including BBC domestic channels - 1,2,3&4).
Breakfast was also good.
I was impressed with the sound proofing as we were on the front and on opening the window were surprised how loud the traffic was. Hotel aircon is soundless too.
For those of you who like gardens, there is a small park towards the back of the hotel which was commissioned in 2006. Nice for sitting in the sun and reading a book (the hotel also has a terrace out the back).
The gym is good; not huge, but really nice equipment.

Service can use a little bit of speed. It took more than 15 minutes to check out, which is ridiculous.
This hotel is merely too far from Paris city center. You need to take a bus to La Defense station and take the subway from there.
Some taxi drivers, after late evening, refused to go to hotel stating it is very far away. One day I have to wait about 1 hour to get a cab.
Since the hotel is located apart from the city centre, you will hardly find any local restaurant in the neighbourhood.
