Congrats Georgia, you've now come into the 21st a little more by allowing local votes on selling beer and booze on Sundays. The weird and/or sad thing about the battle (it's been ongoing since 2002 when they finally let restaurants sell the hooch on Sundays) is that it seems to have been driven by a handful of old fart, wrinkle-room, christian types who just took the time to lobby against the Sunday sells all these years.

RSS Feed My journey into painting with acrylics

This is my journey into painting with acrylics and developing my own style and techniques. I started painting around 1998. Funny thing is I use to HATE painting and using color. I think it was from my pre-teens to late teens that (outside of stuff my high school and community college art teachers made us do in class) that my hatred of color had really set in. It was all of that comic book and anime art I was into at the time. But the honest truth would be that I was afraid of color whether it was using paint or pastel.

Finally! I've been waiting on a tablet pc type thing from wacom or some other company for while, and figured it will happen eventually (still do). But hot damn, I'll take this Inkling thing for two hundred. Mmmmmm, warm fuzzy feeling. So the gimic is you clip the sensor to your paper and draw/sketch with the super, magic infused pen. Well - it's not really magic, just another new, cool piece of art nerd technology.
