RSS Feed Diablo III - Players vs Colors

Diablo IIIYes, Diablo III is going to be much more vivid and vibrant than its predecessors, a fact that has some fans signing a petition against the shinier, happier art direction - now with over fifteen thousand signatures.

Tracey John over at MTV Multiplayer spoke with Diablo III lead producer Keith Lee during the Blizzard Worldwide Invitational in Paris this past weekend, who defended the move towards a brighter, more colorful Diablo.

?One of the things that we considered when we were working on the visuals for ?Diablo III? is the fact that color is your friend. We feel that color actually helps to create a lot of highlights in the game so that there is contrast. A great analogy is like in ?Lord of the Rings? ? not everything is dark. It allows you to see what a creepy dungeon can be like but if everything is dark it doesn?t allow you to have a lot of contrast.?

Lee also explains that they want players excited to enter and explore new areas, rather that simply provide the same dark environments over and over again.

Lee does admit that fan feedback is a major factor in how Blizzard develops titles. It'll be interesting to see what impact - if any - the petition has on the development of the game.

Rock Band 2 has been confirmed as not absent for the Wii, so the uber-popular music game will be seeing a sequel shortly.

It takes time to manufacture all those instruments and get the "musical genius" process down pat, but once it's done the first time, it's easy to bang out sequels. G4's X-Play leaked a screenshot of the upcoming track list for RB2, and the new songs are:
  • "Panic Attack" - Dream Theater (or Finger Eleven)
  • "Chop Suey" - System of a Down
  • "Give It Away" - Red Hot Chili Peppers
  • "Everlong" - Foo Fighters
  • "Kids in America" - Kim Wilde
  • "Ace of Spades" - Motorhead
  • "Hello There" - Cheap Trick
  • "Any Way You Want It" - Journey
  • "Pinball Wizard" - The Who
If there aren't any songs there that tickle your fancy, then you're insane -- or Harmonix isn't doing it's job properly. Naturally the full list will be many times this amount, and the leakage may prompt further information to lurch forth very shortly. Rock Band 2 will be coming out for the Wii later this year.

4. turn right and take shoe
5. slide the left picture to take your shirt
6. turn right twice and click the bear to notice the computercode
7. turn left agein and type in password to open the DVD-Drive
8. take shoe lace and turn right, then left to go back und get your second shoe
9. then type in password again on the PC to get phone numbers to notice
10. turn back right and click the right curtain
11. click phone and type in PIN from the lampshade
12. click on the grey button until you can write a message (small ABC in the upper left corner)
13. type 74992 to write "Pizza" and click on grey button twice
14. type phonenumber from pizzacall (6590679) and TURN IMMEDIATELY BACK to the window!!
15. Wait after sending message. when pizza comes, move to the left and click the window. when she is at the door, move to the right again, click the window and escape"

1. Click on the guy and take a lever (on the pipe under his head).

2. Go back and turn left. Take a wrench (in the center of the room).

3. Use a wrench on the left cabinet.

4. Turn left twice. Get the gloves (right side of the electric box) and a nail (in the middle of the road).

5. Use a wrench on a nail to bend it.

6. Use a bended nail to open the electric box. Take an axe (left side of the box).

7. Go back to the 1st screen and open a drawer. Use the gloves to get a candy from the drawer.

8. Go left and cut a wire in the cabinet with an axe.

9. Go left and give a candy to the men.

10. Go right or left and back to the 3rd screen. Take a candy wrapper (on the right od the guy?s legs In the item part).

11. Use a wrapper on the wire.

12. Go to the 1st screen and use a wire with a wrapper on the cat.

13. Click the guy and take a note from his pocket.

14. Go back and click on upper part of the map. Read the instruction with numbers.

15. Go back and turn left. Use a note on the green phone.

16. Go to the 4th screen and open the electric box with a bended nail. Put a lever on the righ.

17. Use gloves to get a lever up and press the red button.

18. Go back and turn right. Guy is gone and you can go out ? click the trees on the right.
