Benefits and importance of increasing search engine traffic is not a big secret any more. For online retailer and affiliate marketer it means higher product sells and referral commission. Long tail keywords are simply multi-phrase search queries people use to search the informations they need. Unlike General or main keywords Long Tail keywords are more targeted and they literally represent a visitor?s need for specific information. Here is an example. ?Make Money Online? is a general keyword and long tail keywords within this niche use terms such as following - Make Money online with affiliate marketing

These long tail keywords are actual search queries. While most of popular search phrase are dominated by big blogger like Brian Clark and Richard MacManus. It?s not really worth spending my time for this phrase. It will not bring traffic to my blog in any case. But it is much easier for me to rank well on search engines for long tail keywords because of lack of competition. High Monetization potential. People using search engine to find information are valuable because they are targeted individuals who are seeking specific information and therefore they are more likely to click on contextual ads relevant to their interest or subscribe to your site newsletter or blog feed if they get what they need. How to Find and Target Your Long Tail Keywords You can use online web tools as well as basic content development tactics to find the long tail keywords that are relevant to your Blog and niche. Here are such methods to discover long tail keywords relevant to your blog 1) Keyword Analytic and tracking program There are plenty of Keyword Tracking and Analyzing program out there. But so far I have found HitTail and 103bees the most useful and accurate solution for my all tracking and analytic requirement. You?ll need to drop a few lines of code in your site template to make these programs start to suggest specific long-tail keywords you can use. Note: 103bees offer more statistical features than HitTail while acting as a Search Engine Result Pages tracker which allows you to monitor how your keywords are ranking on the search engines. HitTail only allows one website per account so if you are one of those multi blog author I highly recommend 103 bees for you. It would be better as they allow you integrate and monitor multiple websites within the same interface. 2) Internal Search Boxes: Monitoring what keyword phrases user are searching for on your own blog can give you batter idea about your visitor?s expectation from you. Build contents around these keywords or its variation. This is the most useful and passive way of developing long tail keyword reach contents 3). Competitor Analysis: Keeping an eye on how your competitors get search engine traffic on their site is good strategy because your competitor has already targeted bunch of long tail keywords. Studying such analysis will give u batter idea about long tail keyword related to your niche and u will only need to write content and optimize your blog targeting such keywords Visit their site and analyze their webpages, check their title and meta tags, as well as their backlinks if you have some free time. This will help you understand a lot batter Or u can simply use online keyword parsing tools like SEODigger which allows you to immediately find out which keywords your competitor is targeting by simply inputing their site URL.
4) After exercising all three steps follow this simple steps, to increase more traffic over your site. - Insert your keyword into the Google Adwords Keyword Suggestion Tool .

Of course their blog look different. But on price of users reading experience, your readers could be having a hard time reading it and move on to something else. So stick with a standard font such as Arial, Verdana or Times New Roman, and save the fancy fonts for something else. Color schemes: Like Fonts color scheme can make lots of difference. Reader love complimenting color scheme. Make sure your color scheme is easily readable, and its not giving your reader a hard time reading your contents. Red font on a black background is hard to read. So is light grey on white. So make sure what you are using is easy for people to read. Cross platform checking: this is something many blogger forget to do ( I use to be one of them) ? checking your blogs appearance variouse browsers is a good idea. Every browser handles different html codes and tags differently. What looks fantastic in Firefox could look wired in IE, So make sure it is formatting correctly in all browsers and platforms, not just the one you happen to use. Paragraphs: Writing paragraphs are is the most basic structure in any writing While most bloggers use them, there are still number of new blogger who forget the basic writing principles. 1st Make Money Online and Now Micro Blogging sites are popping up week by week. It looks like new generation Webmaster believes in Following the path then leaving the trail
The new player to join the Bandwagon of Micro Blogging is *Plurk* this themed IM (Instant Messaging) Founded by Alvin Woon and his other 6 mates the site officially launched on January 23 2008. This crazy named site was labeled as Twitter clone soon after its launch
Is Plurk is really a Twitter Clone?
Many say Plurk is Twitter clone, I say Plurk is innovative and it has some feature that no other Micro Blogging site has. The most obvious unique feature is the timeline. It may keep u away at first. As it did to some, but many will like this unique feature. If u don?t like it at 1st I would suggest u to stick around for some time. Explore its options follow others I am sure u will like it. Auto-updating of timeline and notification of new plurk or response on plurk is something u will find cool. Another feature that Plurk has but the others don?t is the ability to prefix your Plurk with moods or actions, such as ?hates, loves, shares, will,? etc.
The User Interface and Experience
Unlike any other Micro Blogging site signing up and using Plurk realy simple and it takes 1/3 of Wordpress?s famous 5 minute installation. And once you start using it, some very interesting differences compare to other lifestreaming services start to become obvious. 1st and the most obvious differences u will notice is User Interface which is brilliant and cool. Plurk's use of the unconventional horizontally scrolling time-line is really smart.
Anyone who frequently grieves over Twitter's lack of threading and has found some comfort in FriendFeed, is going to love the comment threading method on Plurk. Thanks to then number at the end of every message you can check how many replies any plurk has gotten. You can see all these replies and add your own simply by clicking on that number. You can also scroll to the bottom of the floating message window and click the Plurk page link, which takes you to the full conversation page for that message and allows you to add your reply

Like other Micro Blogging sites Plurk allows you to customize your profile appearance by adding a custom title and theme, post links, photos, and videos, and an embeddable lifestream widget.
Network Management The most resembling feature of Plurk is Friends invites, which u have experienced with Twitter and Pownce You can use email contact lists as well as instant messaging contact lists to import or invite friends. Once imported and after they have accepted your requests, you and your friends can determine different levels of access to your lifestream using the simple Plurk V/S advanced Plurk options. Simple Plurks can be shared with everyone, your friends, friends of friends and advanced Plurks allow you to section your friend list into different groups and Plurk by clique.

One of the core things that are missing on the social web is gratitude of the communities that help the products or services succeed. While Plurk doesn't do anything significant in that department, it does give its users various levels of stars depending on how many friends they have recruited. This potentially serves as both a way for Plurk to show their appreciation, and give you an incentive to recruit more people (so that you can be seen with a star around your avatar).

The service also uses an outdated concept of karma. The more active you and your friends are on the site, the more karma you accumulate. As you build karma, exclusive features become available to you.
 My Conclusion
When I first read Darren Rowse?s Plurk post I clicked the just out curiosity ( I personally don?t like Social networking & Micro Blogging sites) as soon as I land on my timeline page after signup I asked my self ? Where the hell have u came? ? what are all this floating faces with some stupid messages. But after using it for some time and checking all the features and functions I was thoroughly impressed with the concept of Plurk . I think Plurk is an amazing advancement over the previous generation of Micro Blogging
