So much for people crying poverty. The sales figures for Black Friday are in (preliminary) and spending was UP 3% from last year. I just want to vomit in my hat to be honest.

People crying an bitching they can't afford shoes for their kids who have to walk to school both ways up hill...standing in line to by the discount 50" LCD TV from Best Buy. What a joke.

I went to Wally World to do food shopping and people were packing their carts full of toys and electronics. People are lemmings pure and simple, and they will camp out to but the lastest iPhone from Steve "Hand"Jobs and then bitch they can't afford to fill the tank on their Hummer. Honestly other than that I don't know what to say...

RSS Feed XENU Link Sleuth

I ran across a nice piece of FREE software in my travels recently. It certainly isn't new but it is new to me.

This software will be useful to anyone who runs a blog or website and wants to check and make sure they don't have any "dead links" laying around. A dead link is one that no longer works...in other words a person goes to your site clicks a link and gets the famous "Page Cannot Be Displayed" message (The site may have been deleted or the link moved).

The software is called Xenu Link Sleuth and like I said it is FREE. You put in your starting URL and it will crawl the entire site verifying the validity of the links...Nice tool, just thought I would pass it on.

The Tip:
When changing the oil on your vehicle before installing the new oil filter take your finger and dip it in CLEAN oil, run your finger around the gasket of the new oil filter then install it. This will help with a nice seal and keep the gasket from drying out.
