High-Security Password Systems
The High-Security Password System takes the place of strong passwords on digital devices and online services, yet is easy to remember and quick to enter for most individuals. With the proliferation of password-protected devices and online services, selecting, memorizing, and using multiple passwords is becoming a burden for many people. Password policies ? how often you must change your passwords, how long they must be, and whether they can (or must) include upper- and lower-case or special characters ? only complicates the problem. Security breaches can occur when individuals save passwords on ?cheat sheets,? or when passwords contain dictionary words or names known to be specific to the user. The High-Security Password System places images in a two- or three-dimensional matrix to generate the equivalent of a ten- (or more) digit number. The security of the system can be increased by cells in the matrix also consisting of a number of cells. People find images and their locations easy to remember, yet placing images in a matrix can yield a surprising number of possible password tests. For example, a system simultaneously can watch for the number of objects placed in the matrix (or in each cell), the location of objects in the matrix, the order in which the user places the objects, and the number of times each object is re-used. Objects may be images, letters, numbers, or other symbols. They can vary by color or orientation. "Trianon", the peace treaty which officially ended the First World War for Hungary, signed in Versailles in the Trianon Castle on the 4th of June, 1920, is one of the most catastrophic events in the history of the Hungarian Nation. With this "treaty", the Allies or more commonly the 'Entente' implemented the decision by which Historic Hungary was dismembered. This is how, under the pretext of founding new nations, the largest minority group in Europe, the Hungarian minority, was created.
This decision, which was made without hearing Hungary's argument, forced 3.2 million Hungarians to live in other countries, suffering scorn and discrimination.
This decision was made in spite of the fact that almost all territories inhabited by Hungarians could have been left within the borders. The territories with the largest Hungarian minority are situated in a bloc just outside the present borders. Transylvania is the only exception, with communities that are farther from the borders and there are many areas still populated by pure, ethnic Hungarians.
The new borders, imposed by the treaty, had a "more far-reaching" effect than the dismemberment of the Hungarian nation: this decision sowed the seeds of the outbreak of the Second World War. It increased tension between Hungary and its 3 neighbours: Czechoslovakia, Romania, and the Serbian-Croatian-Slovenian Kingdom (Yugoslavia) to the bitter end. At the same time, this created an opportunity for Germany, led by Hitler, to take advantage of these conflicts of interests in order to use them for its own purposes.
That this devastating effect could have been predicted is proved by Premier Károly Huszár's speech, January 1920: "What is waiting for us will decide not only the Hungarians' fate, but it will also mean the permanence of Europe's peace. A just peace will mean peace and safety for the European civilization, but an unjust one will be a newer suicidal attempt for Europe's peace."
Certainly, these considerations were not taken into account at the decision-making. The main purpose was to fulfill the demands of the 3 previously mentioned neighbouring countries and, by this, to assure their long-standing Entente-friendly policy, which later proved to be unsuccessful. They also wanted to make the economic recovery of Hungary more difficult.

Air Car coming to US as early as 2009
Remember the Air Car that we wrote about a week ago? It?s beginning production in India soon, but it looks like it might make it Stateside as early as 2009.
Zero Pollution Motors has said that it expects to produce the world?s first compressed air-powered car for the US by late 2009 or early 2010. The company plans to produce 10,000 Air Cars per year. The first of the models to be produced in the US will have six seats, a top speed of 96 mph, and can travel as far as 1000 miles on one tank of air. It is expected to cost $17,800.
The Air Car concept is very cool, but so far it can?t compete with the 6 and 8 cylinder gas-guzzlers we are all used to driving. It will take some more time before compressed air engines catch on, but we love to see this kind of innovation. More and more technologies are being developed to replace conventional fuel, and this is one that has potential.
Zero Pollution Motors (ZPM) confirmed to PopularMechanics.com on Thursday that it expects to produce the world?s first air-powered car for the United States by late 2009 or early 2010. As the U.S. licensee for Luxembourg-based MDI, which developed the Air Car as a compression-based alternative to the internal combustion engine, ZPM has attained rights to build the first of several modular plants, which are likely to begin manufacturing in the Northeast and grow for regional production around the country, at a clip of up to 10,000 Air Cars per year.And while ZPM is also licensed to build MDI?s two-seater OneCAT economy model (the one headed for India) and three-seat MiniCAT (like a SmartForTwo without the gas), the New Paltz, N.Y., startup is aiming bigger: Company officials want to make the first air-powered car to hit U.S. roads a $17,800, 75-hp equivalent, six-seat modified version of MDI?s CityCAT (pictured above) that, thanks to an even more radical engine, is said to travel as far as 1000 miles at up to 96 mph with each tiny fill-up.
We?ll believe that when we drive it, but MDI?s new dual-energy engine?currently being installed in models at MDI facilities overseas?is still pretty damn cool in concept. After using compressed air fed from the same Airbus-built tanks in earlier models to run its pistons, the next-gen Air Car has a supplemental energy source to kick in north of 35 mph, ZPM says. A custom heating chamber heats the air in a process officials refused to elaborate upon, though they insisted it would increase volume and thus the car?s range and speed.
?I want to stress that these are estimates, and that we?ll know soon more precisely from our engineers,? ZPM spokesman Kevin Haydon told PM, ?but a vehicle with one tank of air and, say, 8 gal. of either conventional petrol, ethanol or biofuel could hit between 800 and 1000 miles.?
